Audiophile: From the Greek for Lover of Hearing, an audiophile is a person dedicated to high-fidelity sound reproduction and achieving high-quality results in the recording and playback of music.
Librarian: A librarian is a person who develops procedures for organizing information and provides services which assist and instruct people in the most efficient and effective ways to identify, locate, access, and use information and resources.
Welcome to The Audiophile Librarian. I am a former Music Librarian who now works as a Web Development Librarian. The title for this website was comes from my own love of LPs and recordings. In addition to posting about resources and happening relevant to music libraries, I will also begin to post projects and code as I develop them. I am shifting the focus of this blog a bit from what I originally set out to do, but i think it will all come together nicely.
